Sounds like it's working as it's supposed to. If you know you don't have a stable internet connection, you are essentially playing roulette with LeaverBuster.
And, once you've triggered the LB system, you have to prove that you a) won't leave, go afk, or otherwise sit out during game play, b) have fixed whatever computer/connection issues caused the dc's, c) arrange your schedule to have enough to finish your games, or d) any combination of the above. There's some leniency for emergencies, but the system is meant to keep chronic leavers from ruining more games.
I don't play League at home, mostly because the interet tends to glitch but also because I can't be sure I won't be interrupted midgame. I usually play from a gaming cafe where I know there's a reliable connection and I make sure I don't start games too close to closing time.
I would double check your match history. I think button settings are saved server side now, but I'm not entirely sure. I know settings used to be client side, so if you played on multiple computers, you would need to reset everything
