Getting pretty tired of toxic bot lanes blaming mid for roams...

When you ping spam them literally 6x, with more than ample time for them to back off and they still die to the roaming talon. Then they blame you and flame you for the entire rest of the match... don't learn from it, and die to him 5 more times during the match, blaming you for each one, which you also pinged like freaking crazy.

Then, because they're a 3 man premade, they and the enemy team report you for "not following your lane" on a low mobility champ. Because according to them, that's genuinely a super reportable offense, and you can't argue with 3 people 'telling on you' in all chat.

Does this community really need to be so dense and toxic?

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I ward Bot side River bush, AND pink ward the far bushes in river.. every. single. game. And most of the time when this happens, the mid laner walks over not only those 2 of my wards, but also bot lanes own river ward. (facepalm)

Sorry for this happening to you, but the only thing I can say is to

  1. /mute all and set ping volume to 0/mute the game, so pings don't distract you.

  2. Report them for harassment

  3. Don't let them get to your game, if they want to tilt themselves then that's OK, but you don't need to be affected by them too.

lma0 yea its the tried and tested low elo response, it gets pretty whacky because i've been flamed frequently for not roaming when the enemy laner is Talon, Leblanc and Twisted Fate who can jump over walls and tp straight to the lane so i'm as baffled as they are at how they die so easily when i ping MIA.

It does get a bit better the higher you climb though as your team wont really rage at you for not roaming with the enemy laner but they might rage if you don't respond with an action to balance the gold deficit such as roaming top or taking the tower etc.

Happened again just last game...

Vel'koz BACKS in lane. WALKS to their lane from fountain. Meanwhile I'm mia pinging every 10 seconds... He walks into their lane, while my jg and their jg is there. Is there within vision for about 10 seconds before getting a triple kill on our bot/jg who engaged on THEM.

WAY TO FOLLOW YOUR LANER @$&^HOLE.

Can't even explain to these people that he BACKED, and there was nothing to follow. And it was their fault for engaging on a 3v4, with a vel'koz... and I just got (first) mid turret for it, which they didn't even have to die for.

ive had last sec troll swaps and feeders galor bot the one good bot i had we lost because the cait was trying to troll me outta the lane by starving me of exp and assist gold after i got her 3 kills i scaled off and we lost.

10 games one win every single one of them was shit. be happy if its one or two games and not 10 in a row like i jsut had

even had a sivir sit foutian for 20 mins walking around and nope sure enough not banned. riots a shitty company because of there half measure sorry excuse player behavior policy that focus heavily on those getting mad at trolls and not the trolls them selves eventually they will end up like wots

world of tanks last update has caused people to quit tell peak ours during the day it dropped 5k active players on the na sever

This pretty much sums up my feeling on the matter since day one. Trolls who don't particularly swear or say anything really toxic, but are just flat out abusive as hell, as well as griefers who don't need to say much of anything, pretty much go completely unpunished - and it seems like it's worse now with the "automated penalty system".

The last premade that did this though was both quite toxic and trolly, extremely angry at me and in all chat. But this wasn't the only game like it recently, not even close... been playing a lot of lane push champs mid lately, who just plain aren't supposed to roam. And I get ragged on for "not following the talon, zed, leblanc, etc" OH good thing I'm super mobile like they are and can even catch them before they murder the blind/deaf bot lane for the 7th time in a row - that I ping like crazy every freaking time, cus I don't want MY laner super fed.

And unfortunately no, it's a great deal more than just one or two games. It's been almost every game lately when I pick low mobile mid champs and have to rely on ping spams for the mobile roamers, which is why I'm getting reaaally tired of it. Funny thing is most of those games I ended up being the fed carry, and get first turret too, while they ignored my pings and warnings.

But still super toxic and blaming me for their feeding, like I could have done anything at all more than I did.

you shoulda seen my last team is honestly comedic for me asking them to explain them selves and them refusing. im new odds are im confused.

my favorite trolls and the reason ik im gonna get banned are the disrespectful assholes that refused to listen when you tell them to stop pushing waves and they proceed to bitch in moan when you stop grouping.

i would love to know how you people think this games community is in anyways acceptable as is its mind blowing how stupid lazy and abusive it is.

riot you are going to kill this game its a matter of when will players say ive had enough period. you have people of all age groups calling you the most toxic game community in history of gaming and its true because you dont actually try to solve the problem i think they would be amazed at what would happen by removing chat from the game lol ban rate would plummet.

Sorry but that logic is terribly flawed and bad.

Some champs just aren't designed to roam, and are meant to shove waves/get (first) turret - having slow MS, immobility, or low kill potential, but good at zoning/waveclear/lane pressure. Champs who would get a great deal more behind if they leave lane and fail to gank successfully, than if their roamer gets a kill.

Like Anivia Azir Cassiopeia Heimerdinger Karthus Malzahar Viktor Xerath (shall I go on? cus there's more) for example.

On top of which, without vision of absolutely everything, for all you know when you leave lane to "follow your laner" they could be hiding and waiting to kill you. And being a dueler/assassin, makes it near impossible to kill such a champ outside of lane. Kinda what they're designed to do you know? Almost like Riot designed different laners for different purposes or something. Crazy.

And sorry but no, I'm going to take the advice of the many pros/streamers who play said mid lane champs and advise against roaming with them, over someone who's been bronze for the past 4 seasons.

It's not my job to hold your or bot lane's hand. I did my job, pinging mia the second he leaves lane, saying (champ) missing in chat, and warning pinging like crazy directly on top of them if they still don't back off. If they choose to engage enemy bot and die to my laner after that, that's entirely on them. Just don't get toxic and blame me for it.

Well, I get tired of mid laners that say "but I pinged" while they just freeze mid lane when their opponent has been gone for five minutes.

You have 3 options when your lane opponent roams.

  1. Follow their roam. Go to the lane they go to and even up the fight.

  2. Counter-roam. If your opponent roams bot, you roam top/jungle to take out another objective or opponent.

  3. Push the lane hard and take the tower and punish the enemy for roaming.

The amount fo mid laners that do none of the above is staggeringly high.
