Soooo, how long am I punished?

So, to start this off I wouldn't consider myself particularly toxic. I don't really flame people in direct ways, and I try to minimize conflict and overall be positive in chat (shout out to Sky Williams DST) I haven't been punished before, either. However, after grinding ranked games I ended up in this one match with a singed player who flamed me all game, and I wasn't feeling it, so I said "kys" about 3 times. I also called him "a hamster with no legs" and I told him he didn't like the best food in the world, the cheesy gordita crunch, from taco bell. This was the only game that came up in the logs, and I was honor level 5, I haven't been able to get past honor level 5, but I most likely would have reached honor level 5 again, if I were able to. I haven't been able to get random key fragments, after playing many many games, and my honor won't go past level 0. So the 8 chests I am sitting on just won't be able to ever get unlocked. This is especially annoying as it means I only get blue essence from level ups, and I'm assuming chest unlocks were part of the design of the switch from ip. FOREVER. Sorry, it was the first thing that came to mind when I read the title. If you aren't sure, go ahead and submit a ticket to Riot at https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us and they'll let you know for sure.

When you look at your profile, is your honor level locked still? Or is it unlocked? If it's unlocked, then you are in the process of working your way from 0 to 1. As long as that honor level was locked, you weren't earning any progress towards level 1+, and being at the 14 day suspension, it can stay locked for a little while. Here's the Honor FAQ page where you can find more specific information about it. And you always have the option of submitting a ticket to player support.

PENALTIES AND LOCKS How do I drop a level in Honor?

You’ll only drop if you receive a penalty. A chat restriction knocks your Honor level to 1, or 0 if you’re already at level 1. A two week suspension will drop your level to 0 (even if you were higher). In both cases, your honor progress will be locked, making your account ineligible for hextech crafting rewards. Your honor progress will unlock some time after your restriction as long as you show signs of reform.

What do you mean by lock my Honor level and rewards?

You'll see a lock on your Honor level in your profile. This means you aren't making any progress to the next level, and you won't receive any rewards. Unlock your Honor level by putting clean games in. You’ll get a notification when you’ve unlocked your Honor level.

What's the deal with level 1 and 0?

If you fall below level 2, you were hit with a penalty or two, and the first step is to put in clean games to unlock your Honor level. Once you do, your games help you climb back to better rewards, just like how it’s worked since Loot launched.

Are rewards cut for these levels?

At level 1, you earn many less key fragments than normal. At level 0, also known as Dishonorable, you earn nothing at all. It’s a bummer, but you can bounce back just by getting clean games in.

Be happy they just gave you a 2 week ban instead of a permanent one. Telling someone to kill themself is never okay.

Honor levels 1 & 2 take a lot longer to regain if you have been punished. You probably need a lot more "honor xp" to level from 0 to 1 and 1 to 2 than from 3-5.

Lastly: I recommend you stop with your game-leaving activities (3 leaves in the last 11 days) as reports will slam on your honor (meaning you probably have to restart all the way at 0 "honor xp" again) and since you already received a 14 day ban the next one up is permanent.

You are done friend.

You said the hurtful words and Riot has found you guilty.

You have two options before you.

The first is to "reform", play for months without insulting anyone, and then MAYBE youll get back to honor level 1, MAYBE. Just be careful since your account has been marked as toxic it's far easier to get additional bans. Some player get a new ban for one bad game.. I sure hope you are a good boy always! Oh and you cant get skins etc. the whole time.

OR you could do the sensible thing, make a new clean account and grind to honor lvl 5 in the same amount of time with no penalties and blade above your neck. Bonus points! You can make your old account your troll account for when you want to let off steam.

Riot doesnt WANT you to reform friend. You are a criminal. You always will be. All it will take is for you to have a bad game and its over for you.
