When you pick to compensate for a trollpick, you hurt your team more.

Tl;dr trying to troll a perceived troll will only turn you into the troll.

Just something I wanna share with you guys ( . _.)b. When you have that trollpick adc soraka or whatever it is you are mad about today, the worst thing you can do is pick to compensate for what you perceive is their weakness.

The most common one I experience is ally support taking an ADC because of my funpick. Sometimes they play nice. Sometimes they don't.

When playing nice, you end up being the weakest in the entire team unless you have a ... build that takes more than a millisecond of thought. Trying to compensate for damagE? You won't bridge the farm gap unless you're left to splitpush. Late game will come and your lack of utility will be felt.

When you decide your trollpick is nothing but a troll and compete for farm? Everyone loses. You just make everyone mad. Your trollpick AND Your team when the two of you start to feed. You may feel justified in your decision, and sometimes you may even become the carry, and hell, sometimes your team will support you. But your reason WHY you did this, taking over another persons role, will more often than not end in a loss, a penalty for you, and continued games for your troll pick(wave to everyone who said I'll be banned) .

But now lets say that you see your trollpick adc and you're in another lane, so you take an adc to compensate their "lack of damage". Blindly. Without looking at your enemy laner or team comp. The emphasis here is on thoughtlessness.

In my experience, these types of laners will get shit on and fall behind. Most often, these people have never taken their champion into their lane, or never played them without a support at their side. They only see a trollpick and say "welp, time to prove a point" . They played to win. They couldn't play their champion against a Renekton/Veigar/etc. They were only concerned with what their team was doing and not what they were doing. They Lost.

People take trollpicks seriously for a reason. The biggest reason tends to be some unbalanced part of their kit that was never adjusted for the lane they were taken in. OFten times these champions will rely on a one or two item powerspike to get them ahead and stay ahead. Others rely on the underestimation of the enemy of their perceived pick to snowball them to a hard carry. This fine line of chaos only works if supported properly.

Play to your teams strengths, not their weaknesses. Get creative WITH them. Take blitz with that thresh. Take that Urgot with that J4. Take TAric and Leona and just facef%%% the shit out of the traditional adc. But spend more than a second of reactionary thought borne from anger.
