Can you add the word "scrub" to the filter.

Scrub is hardly bad. Like GG EZ, it's not offensive, it's just used in an arrogant way that irritates people. If things keep going and they add every word that irritates people to the filter, then simply opening chat is grounds for a report. So no.

This word being visible doesn't serve any purpose. It's used solely to flame and I'm sure if you use it a lot you will get penalized for it.
