Tips for formatting your player behavior complaints properly
I have decided to make a short post on how to best format an appeal or idea on the player behaviour and moderation boards. I see a lot of post that write rather incoherent statements or go all out attacking people in the post so I have decided to do a small post on this. To the moderation: if you think this isn't necessary here, feel free to remove.
#General Do's
Paragraphs are important
you could have written the best story in the world, if the reader only sees this huge block of text it won't have any effect.
punctuations
Punctuation doesn't have to be perfect on the internet, but make sure to at least use it. A run on sentence is really frustrating to read.
Do make sure your title is written and spellchecked
This one is simple to do, almost every browser has extensions that allow you a simple spellchecker, use it to improve your writing significantly.
Make sure your post is structured with a beginning middle and end
- In the beginning write what you are here for
- In the middle you:
- describe what isn't working
- explain what you would do about it(In case of a ban why you think you shouldn't be)
- argue why your current predicament is right/wrong
- provide examples of your problem
- in the conclusion you write what you think should be learned from your piece or a short summary. In some situations a conclusion is not needed

#Bots in co-op ruin the game for me
I am here on these boards to inform you that co-op vs AI has been taken over by bots. Intro
I am of the opinion that riot games should work harder on preventing these bots from working so hard. It even got so bad that last game I had 9 bots in total in the game instead of the intended 5. Suggestion 1 of the middle+ example of the problem
They ruin the game for new people and make it impossible to enjoy co op because if you win you know you just boosted another persons illegal account. I would even suggest some manual checking on bots to improve the systems to catch them. explain why your predicament is wrong + what you would do about it
I hope riot games reads this and works on fixing the problem, because I feel like I cant play with how it is currently. Conclusion
#General don'ts ##Caps lock on all text doesn't make it look louder, it makes you look dumber Any text writing in caps lock is harder to read and makes you come over as a person that thinks that the words somehow get screamed at the reader if you use all caps. The following exceptions exist.
- If you want to emphasize a part of the sentence. I think that he ISN'T doing enough
- if you want to pretend to be a robot on reddit.
- To show your anger about a small part of your text. Even after all the evidence, I STILL GOT IGNORED
Overall be careful with your all caps answers.
Don't make a one paragraph post.
If it is one long paragraph it becomes hard to read, if it is one sentence it isn't a post worth reading. Don't do that thing where you make the text body read "Title" either.
Don't insult your audience
The quickest way to lose any potential result is to insult your audience.
Don't insult riot games
The other quick way to not be taken seriously is to hurl insults at riot games. If your post speaks clearly your grievances should be clear without insults.
The words SJW and Nazi are of limit when arguing player behaviour.
After this you won't be taken seriously. They are nowadays used as buzzwords that get used to get people on your side without actually arguing anything.
Don't threaten people
Same as the rules above, your threats mean nothing and turn people of your case.

Polls
This one is really simple, a poll should only be used as a way to measure how people feel about an idea. Any other way of using it makes you come over as unreasonable. A poll should also never carry an opinion about the reader(see examples below). ##good poll

Overall I hope this guide can help some people in formatting their PB&M post better. I consider this board one of the more important ones because their are cases where people actually get access back to their accounts with these boards.
