@Riot, is this an illegal way to get trolls to play properly?

So basically what I do is pretend that I know someone from Riot and they will get banned if they keep it up. For instance last game our Ryze told us "fuck you trash noobs im afk" and I said "i know Lyte personally ill just get your perma banned" and they usually don't believe me and just say "lol ok sure you do" and after I say "ok well Jeffrey really doesn't like afk trolls im sure you'll enjoy a perma. Jerffrey is Lyte btw we went to college together, good friends. I'll just ask him after he gets off work." and well...it works. After that the Ryze said "well i wasnt afk lol jk." This also didn't just happen with this Ryze I've done this multiple times to intent feeders/troll afkers on my teams and it works generally 70% of the time. It's a lot more efficient than just saying "ill report you" they don't care. So Riot is this a bannable offense by me?

That is harassment and I'd advise against it. Sure you might scare one or two people into not being toxic for that match, but they'll go back to doing it next time, and your threats may earn you a punishment yourself.

Just kindly ask them to stop whatever it is, report the behavior if they continue, and mute if they're being toxic in chat.

Only a complete moron would believe you lol. But hey, those are typically the type of people trolling anyway, so go for it.

One time I came across a kid who said riot would ban me for being bad; then I roasted his ass and later he said he would hack my YouTube an twitter so I couldn't post the screen shots lel
