Surrender at 20

Why should surrender be at twenty minutes when a game is going so horrible that no one on the losing team wants to play? Why should we be forced to play with toxic players for twenty minutes? I think that as soon as there is a significant advantage then players should be allowed to surrender or if the whole team is being toxic. Most games where people really really want to surrender are 10-15 minutes in the game and that is all I want to be able to do. I think a 15 minute surrender would be much better and would keep the people who are not toxic from becoming toxic.

i think since season 6 is a really fast season and comebacks are really rare, they should lower the surrender time to 15min.

The surrender timer itself is a really terrible system. Personally every system Riot has implemented is terrible.

The surrender system itself makes no sense. Today in season 6 games are decided in practically the first 10 min because Riot has substantially increased snowballing. Games get out of hand so fast and its impossible for a majority of the player base to recover.

There is no logical reason whatsoever for the surrender timer to be anything over 10 minutes. The system still requires a strong majority vote to be successful. If 4 people dont click yes, there is no surrender.... You can't gimp the system.

I have virtually the same though on ARAM. If I queue up for ARAM and get destroyed in champ select and a teammate is AFK so its a 4v5 slaughter. The fact that I have to just sit around (cant go AFK!) for 15min while we wait for the enemy team to get strong enough to take towers and finally win is probably the most embarrassing thing Riot has ever done. You know with the exception of removing 5's and solo Q.

Someone on here is going to say that a group of 5 players could abuse the system to farm IP. My response to that is it would be so incredibly easy for Riot to scale IP gained after a match by the duration of the match and also include a surrender penalty.

There is virtually no logical reason for the surrender timer to exist at any capacity in all honestly.

I agree, i dont think the surrender system is too good.. and i wont jeopardize leaverbuster by going AFK.

idk what you're talking about bro, this game only has 0.006% of toxic players, or at least that the stats rito gives to the permabanned players when they ban them. this game has 99.004 players who are respectful and responsible individuals and that is why rito not gonna do anything about it :)
