I get why some people AFK but...
Why would you rather sit in the fountain and spam fail surrenders for a whole 10 - 15 minutes rather than just playing? Just leave already =.=

They can't risk their pride. Lots of people behave in ways like that not because they want to, but just because they're ashamed and too prideful.
