So how exactly does chat restriction work?

This isn't a thread about why I got chat restricted I perfectly know why. It's just HOW. I was playing on one of my accounts for about a month and I non stopped BM'd in chat, cussed, made homophobic remarks ETC ETC you know the works. Over 100 games and not a SINGLE chat restriction or ban. OK. But on the account I'm on right now not a single game for MONTHS and the very first game I played on it I got a 10 game chat restriction. WHAT? That doesn't even make any sense. What I said was this:

This is what I said that got me chat restricted on the account I'm playing on right now. One game in months. So if THIS got me chat restricted why didn't my other account who says FAR worse things get chat restricted? I'm deeply confused

before we had chatlogs i got 5 games chatrestrict on this account for really no reason. while on my main i never got anything.

Time passed between games is irrelevant. What matters is the percentage of games you're reported in. The account you're on presumably was not far away from a restrict when it was left. And Riot has a zero tolerance policy on hate speech, so that didn't help.

I reported this dude for the n bomb within 3 seconds of the end screen and 5 seconds later he was on a 14 day ban. Sometimes you can get away with a hate word once, I had one guy drop the n bomb and didn't get banned, but pretty much every time you report for that they get instabanned.

My theory is you can drop the n bomb once, but in the next game you get bant.
