I mean, Riot cracking down on toxicity so why not. Maybe it would help cut back on griefing levels too. If calling someone an idiot is bannable, than imo, gg ez should be as well unless there's an Ezreal in the game lol
Yes, it is bannable. The community has been split on this one for a while, some people say it is unsportsmanlike behavior, since you are saying they were not a challenge/they are not as good as you. Its showboating. The other half say its banter, and people are just being sensitive. IMO it is toxic behavior, I believe "political correctness" is a good thing. It keeps things civil. I'm so tired of people blaming "political correctness" as a cop out for them being a jerk. There is no need to insult people, case closed.

It depends. I love saying it when the enemy plays so fucking aggro for no reason and dies stupidly. But if there's no reason, m'yeah.
It should not be. I say ggez when the enemy team surrenders at 15 or 20 because my teams kicking their ass hard and they just want to give up.

Opponent solokills me fair and square in top. I call jg and mid for help. Kill enemy top and all 3 of us left with 20% HP I almost die. "EZ, maybe next time"
It's just banter mate. In every sport it happens everywhere. You can mute enemy team's chat, I don't get why you wouldn't if GG EZ upsets you. Unless you just want reasons to report someone that just stomped you.
I like to respond with something like "See you in Hell!" or "It is natural to die."
Granted I'm not being original because I'm just ripping lines from Shadow Warrior and Duke Nukem, but it's infinitely more original than anything the League Blob can conjure.
