is it just me or is the order of punishments kind of janky? like im not gonna say im some saint whos always good, ive called people noobs and gotten angry at someone before, but ive never told someone to "die a slow and painful death of aids and cancer". There should be some things that are just instaban. like irl death threats intentionally feeding and afking for an entire game on purpose. for starters The afking punishment in ranked is SO tiny, i mean ive had spotty internet and dc'd for 10 minutes before, but if you afk for an entire game after 5 minutes you deserve atleast a 2 day ban scaling to 14 to perma. Also whats with the whole "calling for reports is toxic" punishments? Yes there are people that see their jungler not gank at fucking 5 minutes and go "ZOMG RIPOTR THIS JGLER SO NOOB BAD AFK..." and people that will say report ___ for feeding when they are like 2/7/8 or something, but really? if i say "report karma for afking since 4 minutes please" how tf is that toxic? its calling attention to a toxic act and shouldnt be considered toxic. and before you say "but number of reports doesnt make them get punished" YES IT DOES. ive gotten numerous chat restricts from a single game where i get reported by a 4 man. /rant done

i think more punishments are needed but "call someone a %%%got once every 5 mins instead of every 3", "watch youtube for 20 mins" or "make/buy a new account" and like different levels. Like if someone kept being toxic about a teams proformance he be put in the "salt vs players queue" where its him + 4 beginner ai vs a real team of 5 people. ect ect. like be creative and get a lasting impact.

Things like death threats and intentionally feeding do result in an escalated punishment, skipping straight to a 14 day or permanent ban. However, the current system generally requires multiple games of evidence, not just one. That's not to say that a single won't result in a punishment, it's just that, form what I've seen, most of the time it doesn't. Players that continually behave like this do get punished, but unfortunately some of them may get away with it longer than they should.

As for calling for reports against other players, the reason it's considered "toxic" is because it's completely unnecessary. Reports only flag a game for review, and a single report is all that is needed for this. Any extra reports beyond the first don't really do much. You may personally believe that the number of reports in a game matters, but there are multiple red posts saying that they don't.
