Report option for stealing role?

i recently had a game where in the pregame i asked our assigned adc if i could switch with him and he said "yeah sure just dont do bad". i then preffed jinx and put on my adc runes and summs. then some random adc main copy pastes this thing about how he mains adc/support but he has to put adc/mid to not get it support all the time. i thought nothing of it until i was afk for a minute petting my dog or using the bathroom or something, when he decided to ask me, the person who specifically asked to trade my role for adc, if he could have adc. i was still afk when he asked this so i didnt answer BUT THIS GUY (and actually i think this has happened to me like twice before) thought that me not answering at all was a yes? like no silence if anything is a more definitive no than no. but he was ahead pick of me and yoinked my role and champion so i had to play mid which i indefintley was near useless at, making the game unsastisfactory. also he flamed the entire time and didnt get punished at all

Negative/unsportsmanlike fits the best, but LOL clearly doesn't have enough reporting options nor are they specific enough in the ones they have. The game needs these as well - asking for reports, banning teammates picks, pre-made abuse and not trying to win.

Report unsportsman, if he gets enough unsportsmans they will manual review and 2 week ban, move on with life.

it already is under unsportsmanlike conduct.

cry like a baby in game and in forum since there's no role stealing unless you are a crying tadpole that can't adapt

I think that there is an "it depends" here. The problem is that the question is worded in an ambiguous manner - plus could be open to abuse by some malcontents.

On one hand, "unsportsmanlike conduct" is an offense - and could be covered here. However (!), it is not an offense for not sticking to meta or for tactical disagreements.

I mean if suddenly top starts warding a bit more, has he taken on the job of a support? Well, yes - but it is for the good of the team - and could even be beneficial. Now could it be considered stealing a role? Well....

Also, I can remember a recent game where, I entered as a support only to find that my ADC and the mid were both having off-games (i.e., tilting horribly). The jungler had resigned himself to feeding. And about 18 minutes in, I found that, after stepping back and reviewing the situation, I was in a better position to pick up the slack and carry with the top laner to a win.

One more thing: please before posting, just take a moment to stop and edit it before posting. I found your comment a bit hard to read / follow.

Couple things sound odd in this scenario, so please let me know if I'm wrong:

  1. It seems like you were asking to be adc when it wasn't your "assigned" role. Technically because of that he has no obligation to give you the role. Even if he says "sure" he can still select and ADC and go there. I wouldn't recommend doing this with strangers because they are unpredictable and can easily revoke the role back considering it is their assigned role the game gave them. Easier to do this with friends and switch roles since you'll already be communicating with them. But again, the role you select is what you'll most likely be given. So select accordingly.
  2. If you "had" to play mid then that means it was your assigned role. If you didn't want to play mid and was "indefinitely near useless at", then why select it at all? If you chose fill then you have the chance to go mid. Don't do that unless you are prepared to play every position.
  3. You won't know if the player got punished unless your report was the final report to have him punished. Not accurate to say "he didn't get punished at all" when you can't know if he did or not unless your report was the final straw.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. The story seems a bit all over the place and has conflicting arguments.

Thanks!

I consider it unsportsmanlike conduct
