So why can't we find out when a specific player we reported is punished?

I would love to know the reason that I don't ever get the satisfaction of seeing feeders and trolls, BY SUMMONER NAME, get a ban.

To prevent exactly the type of trophy/witch hunting you're displaying here.

Privacy laws.

Because you don't need to know. It's in Riot's hands, the player will be punished, and you'll likely never see the player again anyhow.

There has been previous cases where punished players have been harassed after some got feedback for their punishment, riot's employees aren't able to communicate anything about the state of another account to you for privacy reasons.

You're supposed to play the game, not get a "sadistic" pleasure knowing people got banned because of you, you really shouldn't be focused on that i can't stress that enough.

Because the player being punished isn't your business. Not something you need to know, nor is it your place to know. That's Riot job. You're a player, not an employee.

Meh... kinda petty. Once the game is over, their account standing is none of your business.

Actually, I have to agree with the OP. It's not exactly about the "satisfaction" of having someone punished, but getting no feedback at all feels really bad. To put it in a more general way, you contribute something, and there is just zero response. At the end of the day, it feels like your report did nothing, and reporting was no proper way to defend yourselves from misbehaving players.

Can you also please give me some more context on that "harassment" argument? If I reported someone and he got a 14 day ban, do you think I'll add him to my friendlist and spam-laugh at him afterwards? (And even so, he could block me.) I don't get that really...

Because it doesn't really matter that you know, specifically, who the system tags. In fact, we don't even need a IFS feedback at all. I looked through the thread and I agree that it is just you being vindictive and needing _something) for your "lost time". You already submitted to the game and it could be a win, a loss, a remake or an absolute stomp, just because there was a troll/flamer/feeder does not change the fact that you already signed away the time.

Do I hate getting trolls/feeders in my games? Hell yes. Do I hate when someone starts spewing toxicity? Even more so. Trolls are trolls, they want you to get mad, pissed, irate and whatever else they can, don't let them. I can still enjoy a game with any kind of troll, to a degree, but I am not fixed on getting a victory.

Basically, this would help instigate witch hunting and really has zero value. Whatever they are reported for, it could be a slip, a very bad day, or even an account share/hack. Let it go it is only a game.
