remove all chat: details on why:
ALL CHAT: positive uses: saying things like "wp, gj, nice combo, nice outplay", asking things like "how did that kill me, i Q'd you" which could be replied with "CC cant stop Vi ult,, its condiered an unstoppable movement".
kay, we have few things that could be positive here, but lets face it. these things are scarcly said. from my almost 4 years experience in this game. they are rare statements.
****negative uses: arguing with the enemy (no all chat, cant do it)
complaining about allies (well you cant really complain about allies, to your allies., i mean you can and people do, but they use all chat to do it, to boost their ego. they want to complain about allies, while letting the enemy know "its not my fault").
_how often do people negatively use all chat? well in 4 years of playing this game i can say with a straight face atleast 90% of my games, involve negative conduct being conducted in all chat. _
REMOVING ALL CHAT IS REMOVING A TOOL ABUSED BY TOXIC INDIVIDUALS. THE POSITIVES ARE HEAVILY OUTWEIGHED BY THE NEGATIVES.
IF YOURE GOING TO COMMNET WITH SOME ALONG THE LINES OF:
"dont remove it, because it doesnt hurt you if you mute it" "dont remove it, because i use it respectuflly" "dont remove it, because theyll find a different outlet"
DONT BOTHER. THESE ARGUEMENTS ARE ILLOGICAL.
FEW PEOPLE USING IT RESPECTFULLY DOESNT MEAN MAJORITY OF USERS DO.
MUTING IT DOESNT FIX THE PROBLEM, WHEN YOUR ALLIES ARE BUSY ARGUEING IN ALL CHAT. TEAM GAME, ALLIES BUSY TYPING IN ALL CHAT NEGATIVELY IMPACTS YOUR GAME. ATLEAST IN TEAM CHAT EVERYONE IS LIKELY TO MUTE THE GUY, IN ALL CHAT THE ENEMY IS LIKELY (THIS IS FROM EXPERIENCE), TO TILT THE INDIVIDUAL CRYING FURTHER BY PICKING A SIDE AND ADDING FIRE TO THE FLAME.
