Is the honor thing even good?
Enemy Akali. Honor 5. Flair on screen.
"They must be nice!" do I tell myself
Enters in game. Starts losing.
"REKT" "EZZZZ"
Game ends.
"EZ" "EZ" "EZ" "EZ" "EZ"
And yeah, they actually spammed it.
Thoughts? :/

nah honor is a trash system u just need 1 honor a game and u will get 5 in 2 months from level 2
Because the truth is that players actually value gameplay in their team mates moreso than honorable behavior. People are more likely to honor a KDA than the control-tank that legitimately held up against unfavorable odds & provided solid team work & communication.
Toxicity is a meme and has only served to make players feel justified for being thin-skinned tantrum machines at the slightest provocation.

this should be explained by itself
In my experience people who play well or carry are the ones who get honored. It goes against what this forum seems to believe- that people would rather play with non toxic feeders than with people who will win them the game.
That's why I was telling a guy that honor is practically a roll of the dice, unless you're blatantly toxic. People honor for all kinds of different reasons. The akali is probably decent and people honor him for carrying them.
Honor system has some weaknesses and the one you describe is one of them. My advice is the standard: "Mute-Report-Forget". The "Mute" includes the silent (Don't retaliate).
As result of the report players like that might get a punishment and lose that fake honor rating and with the poor honor rating he would get reduced rewards from honor system in future. There isn't really much else to do here.
