Clarification on the honor checkpoints

Is there suppose to be a certain amount of honor we're suppose to get or a certain amount of games where we aren't toxic?

honor checkpoints seem very much time based versus how many you get, I play 10x less than my friends and we all got the same checkpoint within 48 hrs of the first one to get it.
