Thoughts on at least stemming toxic nature

So while in a few games I saw that a few times the team on my side would have someone who would fall behind, perform an I’ll bank or have like a 0/4 score and of course we all know where that leads to, flames and griefing. And knowing how I got out of chat restriction for being toxic I figured I’d at least try and stick up for the players that have a bad day/game.

I’m not saying it works in stopping it but at the very least I don’t see the team member who’s falling behind become a bad person as well...if that makes sense. But I am curious what others would think if this were to help behaviors.

Best is to advise the player to use the mute function and leave it at that.

"sticking up" for the player would either re-direct flame onto yourself or fan the flame even harder because most likely the flamer will feels it's you and the player vs. him and flames both of you even harder.
