Is a support taking all the cs from the adc punishable?

ks = kill secure cs = creep secure

Punishable? Nah. Douchebagery? yes.

Some champs as support benefit from it.

Annie can last hit q a creep to push herself towards her stun, or to help her lvl to 4 while conserving mana resources and being more useful once the all in breaks out.

Tahm sometimes takes a creep when using them as ammo.

Malz may end up picking up the gold off a creep during Malefic Visions if the adc isn't spot on with the last hitting during the chain.

Sion can take cs when he yells at them for ammo.

Veigar might constantly q minions because Veigar and q and stacks and things.

There's more examples , but basically this is how I feel : If my support ASKS for some cs, I think I'd give them some. Who has ever had a support ask for some cs? Sure take some, you're actually 2 lvls behind please catch. I've seen under lvl junglers a wave of my lane minion exp before just to help.

And if I'm a support and for whatever reason I want some cs, I'll mention that to me adc. However, I will say this, if you disrespect me or offend me, as your support, I -will- take every single cs you have and you -will- be put on tilt. I will ensure you don't enjoy that game. Support has too much power to be talking to like that.

I mean it would be dumb since the adc should be getting the CS/Gold so they can be much more powerful than the enemy adc. But if the person is bad and not last hitting then why waste the gold?

I will say though that doesn't mean you shouldn't get some. Like if the adc is back at base, or if your champion has a Relic shield. But then again adc will scream about anything. I remember when I first started to play support and got cursed at for taking CS while the adc was waiting at base for a BF sword. It was stupid. And people still complain when a support with relic shield tries to use the passive on it on a siege minion. I would assume especially adc would read up on support items so they know what their lane partners can get!

If I play an offmeta support like a mage that can carry, and I can tell my ADC isn't going to, I'll take CS and carry myself.

As a player that can't last hit worth a damn, If Im playing ADC you are fully welcome to any CS I fail to get.

EDIT: In fact, I don't even have to be ADC. Im so bad at last hitting that, in general, your welcome to any CS I fail to get.

Id rather somebody get it than it disappearing into the aether.

I take one cs and you start complaining immediately. They're my cs now...

Taking CS is never punishable no matter what role you're playing.

And if I'm supporting and standing in brush that's warded, my auto attacks may go off on their own without me clicking the minions. If this steals a creep and you bitch about it, I'm gonna fuck up your CSing as much as I can, even if I miss it too. Same goes if I'm harassing with AoE spells and they hit minions.

No. Whenever I support, if the ADC isn't going to get a CS, and I can tell that they suck at CSing, I'll start to take the CS myself. If you're like that, then why give the minions cs? Let the support have it. I never blatanly steal from an ADC, though. If that's what happened to you, then the Support is either bad at supporting or a douchebag. Taking CS is never reportable, though. Now if you were TOXIC to your support... I'm sure that Shen up top could use some help...

Why would you do that in the first place

Reportable? Only in dynamic queue. Punishable? Probably not. The person probably doesn't do that most games, and even if he did he probably wouldn't get reported every time.

Lots of people here seem to think it's not reportable. It is. The definition of a support is the character that does not consume any gold resources. There are only four sources of gold but there are five players. That's the reason Riot made support a requirement for dynamic queue. Intentionally taking all of the CS is not supporting and is therefore not going the role assigned to you.

If you're in blind pick you're fine though. People can troll as much as they want.

No, and I've won games while players intentionally trolled me. As long as they're not intentionally feeding their douchebaggery may succeed. If that player goes 0/4 in lane and is taking your cs, then report them but you cannot say anything... Thats just how the system works, and everyone knows it blows.

No it's not. However, it's kind of a dick move lol. I mean if it was I would have been banned a long time ago. I don't do it on purpose, but when I support sometimes my mid lane instinctg kick on and I can't help if I'm better at last hitting with a support than a lot of people seem to be with an ad.
