Player reform webinar (Account penalty deduction)
So Riot hear me out on this idea.
Can Riot produce a pre-recorded Player behavior reform webinar.
Whereas players can sign up for this webinar ($5) and throughout this lesson the instructor will go over the 9 points in the summoners code.
After that is over players will have to fill out an online test on the content, and only by scoring a certain % will the player pass and have 1 previous violation/temp ban removed from their account.
This is meant to be similar to a "Defensive Driving course" whereas you can pay for a course, and if you pass then you get "points" removed from your account from previous temp bans.
Being that riot keeps a record of it all and after a certain number of temporary bans they hit you with a perm ban.
This course can be taken voluntarily. Or if it is your final strike Riot will prompt you with an offer to take this course to drop the previous charge and remain un-perm banned...if you choose to not take the course well then..GG
This will not work for Already perm banned accounts..
Now WHY is this helpful?
Perhaps most of the time players do need a refresher on what it means to be a good player and a good community member.
Perm banned players will almost always create a new account. This is an absolute recipe for bad new player experience.
New players are thrown into a game where 70% of the people who are <lvl 30 are angry people who are banned from their level 30 accounts and are now "smurfs" basically trash talking and flaming the new players while dominating the battlefield with their experience and game knowledge that gives that an insane advantage over our new players.
now while this will not cure "smurfs" it will I believe help to keep some players from making new accounts and help with keeping experienced players out of new player matches.
also at the same time Riot makes some extra $$$...
