If i help someone get too a rank there already in is it boosting

There are really 2 kinds of boosting. The legal kind: Duoing with someone way better than you and having them carry to an elo that you don't deserve. The Illegal kind: Someone else playing on your account to increase your rank.
Technically it is but it is not illegal.
