What actually happens to people who run it down mid/troll ranked?

Before someone comments they get banned, they actually don't.

I won't name the specific player but i know of someone who's inted 8 games of ranked in a row and he hasnt recieved any warning or any form of punishment.

Why do people literally play league of legends to run it down mid and try to antagonize people, isnt that a sort of waste of time? Wouldnt they rather play something else?

I'm not going to be one of those players that flame riot for having a bad report system but why do these people exist? why is the report system not strict on these people?

Its rampant in low elo, people will literally get pleasure from running it down and watching peoples reactions.

How do you even climb out of silver with these players?

How do you even climb out of silver with these players?

Statistically speaking, you benefited more from inter (not that it is right to have them in your game on any team). If you are not an inter, then there are only 4 rando on your team and 5 rando on the enemy team. The chance of the enemy having an inter given you a big chance to win is far greater than the chance of you having an inter on your own team over a big enough amount of games you play.

So inters (again, it is not a good thing to have in the game period) would have benefited you more in your climb over numerous games you play by pure statistics. If you cannot climb out of silver, it is not because of inters. You should look inward to what you can improve instead of finding blame on something you cannot control and over season long, even be beneficial to you, not detrimental.

unfortunately cases that involve in-game infractions need to be manually reviewed

as you can imagine there are A LOT of such cases and probably just as many false reports so it takes time to get to them

They get away with it most of the time because the system is incompetent at catching trolls/inters. Soft inting is even more common now

i "inted" by running into towers giving executions all game the towers were pretty fed full items at min 15, got banned from just one game

meanwhile real inting is rarely checked idk why maybe they don't talk much in chat

In the vast majority of cases, nothing happens. The IFS is terrible at detecting it. However, that is not the reason why you are stuck in Silver. If you think its going to get any better when you eventually climb, you are mistaken.
