reporting players and lack of punishments
am i an asshole for calling riot out on their shitty punishment system every time i report a player in game?

Lack of punishments? Have you looked at this board?
I am kinda mixed on this one.
- What do you do to call them out;
- Do you call out everything(f.e My Maokai went 0/3 in lane) that bothers you or are you focusing on serious violations that get away unpunished(0/20 Maokai after 10 minutes/ other inters);
- Do you do it in the post game chat or do you open a discussion here?;
- Do the people you discuss it with even want to discuss it with you, or is it better to collect all your problems and then boatload it on the boards;
- Are the people you are complaining to at all interested in the complaints to begin with.
Overall from this post, you don't look like an asshole, just someone bothered with the state of behaviour in this game.
Punishments are given when earned. It shows a lot about your character when you call riot out in a punishment card rather than a player support ticket to actually talk to a rioter. I guess talking to a robot is easier and less confrontational for you.
You should be more specific on what you are calling out in regards to the behavioral system.
Lack of Clarity? Lack of Transparency? Lack of education? Lack of punishment on verbal or disruptive gameplay?
