I played a match as Kindred however i had a bugged out UI and i couldn't select a skill to level up so i quickly left the match and reconnected (even my teammates where fine with it) but now im worried about being marked by leavebuster. Im afraid of future technical difficulties might get me punished
Did it take less than 3 minutes?
if you did not receive any warning pop up and if you get victory/loss points, then I believe you did not trip LB detection
the moment you leave a started game you get "one leavebuster point" (made up name and numbe rby me). if you get a certain amount of points in a certain time you get a leaverbuster. otherwise youre fine
if you're gone for 3+ minutes, leaverbuster gives you a strike
strikes only add up to queue timers (5 minutes, 10 minutes, then 20 minutes) and there is no possibility of ban from leaverbuster
i think it takes 2-3 strikes to get the first timer (5)
strikes cannot go down over time (so once you get a 20 minute penalty, every penalty afterwords will be 20 minutes, no matter how long in-between), but they do reset each preseason
Don't worry about it. Leaverbuster isn't an extreme penalty system, especially when it's not consistent on your end. You're not going to lose your account over a couple burps.
