"It's Bronze, what you expect?" Toxicity
Is this the new code of ethics for League? Being Bronze just means you can be a mega-jerk? I get toxicity is a part of the game, unfortunately, but what I don't follow is just EXPECTING to be treated like garbage because of a certain tier one's in. Negative attitude is in every tier, but saying it's OK to be a horrible person JUST because it's bronze isn't going to make the gameplay better, or help you get out.
As a support I experience a lot of abuse, and usually from my ADC. If I dare even REQUEST they retreat, because JG is MIA, I'm OOM, and our lane is pushed out, I am usually slapped with "know ur place support" Like I'm a slave, and not a teammate.
I'll literally have adcs demand I follow them, and ONLY them around the map like a dog "because thats my job", god forbid I leave lane, while enemy jg is dead and we are pushed out, so I can ward enemy jg and dragon, or roam to mid. When I report later, the typical response is, "Well what did you expect? It's bronze." I'm bronze, and I don't talk to people this way, and being a lower skill tier level doesn't give access passes to being a jerk. If anything, you should be 10x more humble. I love this game, I love playing support, but I've literally noticed a decline in teamwork, communication, and just manners. Maybe because it's school break? Who knows.
Are other teirs like this? A lot of my friends are Gold and Plat, and when I play with them I never experience this kind of in-team trash talk, or All-Chat. The worst I've seen is ";) gotee".
