Queue dodging

I'm all for stricter punishments for queue dodging. And let me say, I have literally never, ever, EVER dodged a queue. I literally have an icon for NOT dodging games. I don't care if there's a troll pick. I don't care if someone is being an ass in lobby. What I hate is when I have a limited time to play, and I spend 15-20 minutes just trying to get INTO a game.

I absolutely hate sitting in queue, get into the game, we all pick our team and begin to make a plan, maybe edit a rune page. Literally the FINAL COUNTDOWN before the match starts.... and then someone queue dodges. So then it's back into queue. Get a new match. Go through it all over again. Last 8 seconds before match load begins. Aaaaand someone dodges. Go through it again. Pick all champs. Last 5 seconds. Dodges. LETS TRY AGAIN. Aaaaaaand this time I don't get the role I wanted(or my champ gets stolen) so I just sat through 15 minutes of queue bullshit to get a role and a champ I didn't want to play. It's extremely unrewarding for people who DON'T dodge, and there is like not even a slap on the wrist for those that do. Oh, a 5 min queue penalty? I literally sat in that waiting for another match to get lined up, and sat through more dodgers.

And I hate it when "troll picks" are a reason for queue dodging. Back in S2, Fiddlesticks was considered a "troll" support, yet here we are in S9, he's a "support", and if you pick him for jungle(like he was in S2) people assume you're trolling.

Horseshit. If you've been playing since Season 2, you've absolutely dodged at least one game.

If you have limited time, don't queue up. Riot isn't going to start banning people because they had the audacity to dodge a queue, which is within their rights, and it impacted your precious limited time.

Try to think outside of yourself.

I don't care if there's a troll pick. I don't care if someone is being an ass in lobby.

That's great. Some people do care, though, and those probably won't want to play the game as much if Riot takes away the only recourse players have in the event of troll picks and toxic matchups.

You're basically saying "I don't mind being a hostage, and therefore anyone who does mind being a hostage shouldn't be able to avoid being a hostage. It's not a problem for me, and anyone for whom it is a problem should have to just deal with it."
