Stealing roles in blind draft

Is that ever going to be punishable? Especially with two new champs just released.

We all know how fun it is to call your lane just so that someone else calls your lane years after you and then proceeds to immediately lock in.

But hey, given that you are the smarter person you just play another role. However there are limits to that and I'd like to know if something is done about the issue.

I also would like to beseech people who troll like that, to at least have the fucking decency to dodge queue when you notice that the person who legitimately claimed a role refuses to “give in“.

I apologize if the issue is already being addressed

No point chastising them, they're just like toddlers, who will throw tantrums and take by force if they don't get their way.

Best you can do is report them after the game and move on.

Or you could try getting a group of 5 together who will allow you to try what you want without conflict.

I'm a fan of law and order, so I've never stolen anyone's role in blind pick or any game mode. However, I understand that blind pick is sort of lawless when it comes to champ select. There is no obligation... calling roles is more of a house rule made by players. It's unofficial. So start playing draft mode if you really hate it. I play blind pick anyways, just because I hate waiting through bans and champ selects when everyone practically takes the whole 30 seconds to choose something. But I don't get mad when someone autolocks, because it's my choice to play in the game mode where autolocking is possible. Show some responsibility. It happens, don't get mad, it's the way blind pick works.
