(In regards to my perm ban)

"We will not be making an exception here as it would be unfair to other Summoners who are in a similar circumstance."

The Rain Man (ex-TSM top laner) and Imaqtpie (ex-Dignitas ADC) had their permbans reversed on more than one occasion. I would love for someone at Riot who is brave enough to tell me why they give these players special treatment.

I think you're confusing having a perma-ban reversed, and having an on-sight ban or professional play ban reversed.

They didn't get their accounts back.

If you are referring the TheRainMain's recent ban, I believe you are factually incorrect.

AFAIK, his account was "locked" rather than permanently banned. This is a measure Riot takes when they notice suspicious activity on the account to:

  • Prevent the suspicious activity from continuing
  • Have the account owner contact them to resolve the issue

His punishment was a 2-week ban.

His "permanent" ban was just a lock on his account until they had the issue sorted out.

What are you perm. banned for? Just out of curiosity! Zyra

They rarely reverse bans, and they do so when the ban was in error. If you truly want help, you should submit a support ticket.

I don't know TRM's story, but they lifted a ban from Incarnation, a.k.a. C9 Jensen, allowing him to play in the pros, but they did not give his accounts back. It would be difficult to imagine them breaking precedent with TRM.

I don't know if I can even get the reform card still since it was almost 2 years ago but I can try.

well, it'll depend on the circumstances.

There are many instances that Riot has reduced a permaban to 14-day bans.

How about you share your reform card to show your specific circumstance?
