Low Priority Queue?

Heyo. This isn't mean to be a hate thread at all. <- Just a heads up!

Honest question, am I in low priority queue... in Plat II?

Past few games I have been with some truly distasteful teammates, who do nothing but blame each other. Last game I had an afk. This is all in Plat II, where I don't usually see this stuff....

I am curious, did I suddenly get dropped in a lower priority queue? Or am I just unlucky?

I am really trying to get to Diamond, but stuff like this just drops my moral to zero.

I'd say you're just unlucky and matched with tilted teammates.

I've made a similar post before asking if such a thing exists, and the answer was "No" there is no different queue for "less desirable" players or "low priority" or anything like that, everyone is in the same queue. I'm not sure I believe it.

I once had 12 consecutive matches with a dc or afk. Twelve matches in a row. Two nights of playtime wasted, all twelve were losses except one 4v5 we managed to win. There is no way that was in regular queue, I just refuse to believe it. Then the first match where I didn't have an afk on my team the enemy team had an afk on theirs. Pretty ridiculous.

I think riot purposely does matchmaking this way to drum up more reports. For example: I was on a win streak two days ago. My MMR didn't go up by that much, but hit normal for my division. these past 6 games where I've lost have been super toxic, almost to the point of me becoming toxic myself because that's ALL that I've had to deal with for the past two days.. Reports are doing nothing, hell Lyte quit because riot doesn't want actual humans to deal with toxic players but computers. You get a 10 game chat restriction for finally blowing up on the 10th toxic person you've encountered in your day..

am I on tilt now? Yes, because I get demoted because our top ekko goes AFK, our blitz support decides to flame everyone, the enemy j4 manages to double smite a dragon, and our adc decides to intentionally feed after our mid laner took some of her cs..

This game honestly has gone to hell and dynamic queue was the start of it.

Rito banned me around 20 times with low prior queue. I EVEN GOT BANNED ON PBE. I rarely quit games but hey I play on 230ms and 10 fps where I randomly dc for 1-2 seconds and rarely 2 minutes.

I just played another.

Same attitudes among all of my teammates. (It's all your fault, anyone who plays Yasuo is trash, I am God but my teammates bring me down, etc...)

I am done for tonight.

Maybe it's just Monday night luck that's biting me hard.

Sigh.

I don't even recall getting a warning or transgression, and for the past few weeks I have gotten the, "your report punished _____" message three times.

Anyone have confirmation of me being in low priority queue?

Low priority queue just means longer match making times, not toxic teammates. Since queue times are starting to get a liiittle higher in plat, usually around 4-8 minutes, it shouldn't effect how long you wait too much anyway. Also, you're informed if you're put in the low priority queue. Plat's just a toxic tier, anyone who's been through it will tell you. I was actually perma-banned as soon as I got to plat lol
