Tribunal needs to come back to the players hands
The problem is trolls are so rarely punished right now since they took the power from the community. If you troll repeatedly in a role, you shouldn't be able to play that role at all for 2 weeks. And if that happens with 2-3 roles, put a temp ban on the account. Trolls need to be fixed. The community isn't so much toxic as fed up with people who just troll on purpose.
I got yelled at today for informing a Caitlyn that she could E thru a Taliyah wall instead of wasting flash. Because that makes me a "pro" and a jerk. What is wrong with this game when you let people go unchecked who throw games on purpose when you have veteran players trying to teach them and help them get better.
90% of my losses are legitimately playing for teamwork and then losing because my support trolls and plays a carry instead (Ziggs/Veigar) and takes sighstone but then doesn't ward and steals kills all game on purpose. ADCs who play at melee range or try to 1v2 when you back or don't know how to kite. Mid laners who let their lanes roam without a whisper to your lanes, don't push turrets, and don't follow up so you die horribly, lose dragons, and they just shrug cuz, of course, they have great cs and a good KDA which RIOT REWARDS!!!!
The system has been fouled up so bad that we pat people on the back for playing selfishly and losing games while the people who rely on that teamwork and are actually trying to climb the ladder are stuck forever in elo hell because they look bad because even diamond players can't 2v4 at 5 minutes.
But since players no longer have the option to help clean up the community with any real impact, 3rd party scripters are all over the place; people afk farm and let their team die on purpose all the time; people troll support because they don't really want to support; people throw games for mastery tokens; and accounts are sold constantly to people who just don't have the skill to play in that elo. I know RIOT wants to maximize their profit and rewarding players for participating in the Tribunal impacted that, but so will players leaving the game because it's not about your skill level or teamwork anymore. Now, unless you have a constant 3 or 5 man squad that's strong enough to carry horrible players in nearly every game that don't even build correct items for the role let alone the matchups, you're never going to win.
it's like being placed on the special olympics team because you spent your whole life losing matches because you took pity and played with people who weren't very good. or because you got stuck in a downward spiral with them from step 1. I stopped playing or a while a few years back because of trolls, dcs, afks, and random people who were just absolutely stupid and don't understand that the game isn't an fps. it's a real time strategy moba with a lot of thought process and understanding involved and teamwork reigning supreme. Until riot rewards teamwork more than solo play and let's solo players climb in spite of horrible teams, what the hell is the point? You can play with Diamond or Higher skill levels and not get out of games when your entire team feeds the enemy and they just straight up outnumber you.
