So is there a way to tell riot about false reports?

I'm just wondering because I've been falsely reported for verbal assault after a match I never cussed in, barely talked to the team i was with except to call mia's and to try to let them know not to 3v5, and then to ask in the after game lobby how I was trolling. The guy then responded with something that personally is highly offensive and when i informed him i was reporting him he reported me. I got a verbal abuse warning. I'm trying to figure out how to post the screen picture I have of what he said right now.

Verbal abuse isn't limited to cursing, racism etc. Repeatedly badgering players can be considered it as well (someone not shutting up can get extremely annoying).

If someone falsely reports you, you don't have to worry about it if you didn't do anything. The system will parse your chat logs to identify toxic behavior; if nothing is found, then it's thrown out and that person loses weight in his reports.

If you got a warning that doesn't necessarily mean you'll be punished. It just means you've been reported a lot recently. Though if you do get it, you need to consider that your behavior might not align with the Summoner's Code after all.

ctrl + prt scn should get a screen cap.

Then paste it to your prefered image editor and save. Those can be attached to a support ticket.

Just remember, if you also want to post to the boards, you'll have to edit out any names before uploading here.

OP please never tell anyone your going to report them. This is a legit report-able offence. I'm just telling you this not judging the merits of the system.

As per your question, Rioters have said many times that when someone make false reports the value of their reports fall...So, yes Riot is doing something...how do you tell well don't know honestly :) Hope this helps some.

I too was just reported and got a msg about how my behavior is not inline with the code of conduct I honestly never said one word. I played mid and did not do well . I am a support main . I was forced into the role. afterwards I was reported for verbal abuse.
falsely . I have played league for 5 years now have spent thousands of dollars on skins and what not and for my account to be in jepperody for absolutely no reason is just crazy. I understand this first warning is just a automated reponse but what happens when it happens again or maybe I just come unglued and go off . well my second or third offense may be my first legit report ... what then. just saying we need to come up with a way to actually punish false flag opperations

yeah well, that doesn't help when I'm falsely reported for verbal abuse / intentional feeding when I haven't said a word / was trying a new champion and then getting chat restricted for 5 games.

FrostedReapears, first I want to say sorry I have had a series of personal things going on or I'd have answered you sooner.

No my comment did Not help you in your case and again I am sorry... I'm hoping that with a little more information and maybe a Blue intervention someone can help you figure this out.

As for Screen shots I can't help you maybe if you check back with this post someone who does know can explain it to us both. I'm always a bit caustious, but I'd be willing to try to help you if we can talk..more info..w/o names :) If you want to talk more or I can help you feel free to add this account in game GL

P.S. I wish there was a way to bookmark this post/thread because I feel like important information could be imparted to both of us and I'd like to remember this one to ask others ..How do you take a screen shot in game for those of us how don't know :) Thanks anyone that could help :)

Thank you for helping :) So many times it must be said though ...no name and shame, things can be posted if done so in the correct way ...I need to book mark this myself even though I have not felt the need to do this type of thing I'd like to remember how..ty
