Mute doesn't prevent: champ select troll/toxicity, in-game feeding, in-game afk, (what used to be ping spam), people who just follows you around, giving enemy vision of you because of their pathing, and do nothing to help you while following you around, etc.
For the most dedicated of trolls out there, if they cannot get a rise out of you with chat, they'll resort to extreme measures
I'll never understand why people spend 30 minutes in the game crying about someone being toxic. Just had a Lee Sin. Didn't gank 1 single time bot or mid lane so mid starts flaming him (mid sucked so wasn't jg fault, but still had 0 ganks lol). Lee then cries and says, "leave me alone", etc. I'm like, "dude, are you stupid enough not to mute him?"
I just don't get it.
Amen to this. As far as the inters toxicity and other gameplay trolling, I have learned to ignore it. I play a lot of ARAM and there are at least 2 botted accounts per match now. It is good practice for dealing with inters.
Unless someone is gambling with me or I'm being paid to win games in League of Legends I'm not going to lose sleep over someone inting and losing us a game. Sure winning is great but I'm not going to have a stroke raising my blood pressure to give that much of a shit.
