Devs, Man Up and Answer This Thread????? In-Game Makes a Lie of Your Claims to Humanity in the News

There are tons of equippable items in this game. Supposedly I can customize my build any way I like. But the moment I try to work up an off meta build, I have to spend entire matches having my equipment and runes being pinged and repeatedly told just how f* stupid and r%%%%%ed I am, even in normals. I could screenshot this hundreds of times. Report for verbal abuse does nothing. I could easily provide you video of people shaming me for 40 min straight on my main for my build even as I carry the entire match to victory. It's tiresome, and 10x more tiresome when I want to work out something new.

Why don't you do the right thing and take care of this situation one way or the other? Either mark some items as not usable for certain champs, or start actually doing something wtih verbal abuse reports. I'm not a pro gamer, I'm a normal human who normally will not open my wallet for your game because the game attitude is so negative. How about you man up and answer this thread? I was 10x nicer to you then the players in your game client every single day. Man up. Answer.

You are constantly in the new last year claiming how progressive and not grimy you are, yet 90% of your items are not usable on average champ because it's A-Ok to pick on people in game, for any reason anyone see fit. Man up and answer.

In before "oh just mute." Please, move on to the next thread if you think we should all just look the other way at bad behavior, you're a child.

honestly i wish there was a "vote to kick" option in the game, ide much rather have a smartly coded bot then someone demoralizing the team and flaming someone who is at least trying to play the game

As Usual, in perfect Riot Style, only their unofficial children will answer, and actual Riot Employees will remain silent. This game suffers from toxicity, and it is easy to see it's worse each season. It's because Riot is toxic at the core and will not address this core issue. For those that are too young, or wrapped up in company propaganda to think for themselves, this game is toxic because it's allowed, period, full stop. There are a number of ways you can shame people without using blacklisted words. All these big companies and schools talking about anti-bullying focus are HILARIOUS. Make a joke of it if you want, that's how you guys roll in these forums because no adults present, but I was picked on heavily growing up. I remember what it's like. There are lots of great ways to do it. You choose a physical feature, or a lifestyle choice, etc, and then you just mock it, relentlessly. Those kids, the ones mocked relentlessly, are often the eventual suicide victims because they can see nowhere comfortable to fit in in society.

You see equivalents to this in game, and even equivalents that can be easily monitored by code. The equipment pinging is perfect example. 99% of the time, a player pings equipment or runes to make fun of someone. Aside from those occasions where top laner is getting destroyed in hellfire and pinging his huge opponent's dangerous finished item, it's to make fun of someone.

It's obvious. I'll say it again, troll if you want, but we normals out here have these crazy things called eyeballs. We see it happening every day.

Take a look around the boards for a bit if you have time. You will see that they certainly do punish players for that sort of harassment. They are VERY strict on chat offenses. I wouldnt call it "progressive", as I consider restrictions on speech to be more of a regressive trait, harkening back to the days of kings and queens and organized religion setting standards for speech and creating laws around it, but the fact is, they are very strict and are constantly punishing players for doing the things you say they do to you.

Just curious, why do you have the perception that nobody is punished for those things? What makes you think that?
