If ELO boosting is not valid, why smurfing ranked is allowed?

Dear Riot,

Why smurfing (playign ranked with alternate account intentionally put to lower ranking than yours) is allowed while it ruins the MMR and league system just like MMR boosting? Is it because RIot cannot detect such thing, or because Riot does not want to anger players who make climbing out of silver and bronze literally requiring to be platinum and diamond as you play against smurfs with their mains at that skill level? And those smurfs cosntantly come to tell us in forum "climbing out of silver is easy"...

Boosting and smurfing have nothing to do with each other.

Because smurfs count as "players", which Riot can count more than once to pretend their game hasn't peaked.

Getting carried is different then someone else playing on your account.

The Problem about detecting a smurf is :

they can't use your connection information to the server because it could be just your brother/friend/whatever that connects to the server with another account on your computer and that's not banworthy.
you can't ban someone for playing good. If i play my 10 placement matches on my main and win every one of them because I'm just good for being a beginner...you would think I'm a Smurf instead right? The System would search for an extreme high winratio and ban people like that for being better than their elo they are actually at. That would destroy the sense behind the ranked system and many innocent people would be damaged from that.

There are sadly not many other opportunities to detect smurfs.You would ban people that probably don't even smurf.

I can understand how frustrating it is to play against smurfs, but there are two teams. you could be just as lucky as your enemies sometimes and get the smurfs in your team. Most of the time you are really responsible for your own elo, as hard as it sounds. Just keep playing and try your best mate =D. GL.

I think smurfs are good, as a matter of fact, being bronze, and someone claims to be a diamond smurf (Then play like it) my team or not, it helps me understand the game better, yeah i might lose that game, but i might also learn something from that smurf. I think you're just to ignorant to realize you're bad and then use smurfing to back your losses.
