Why can we no longer submit tickets to report players?

I used to always use the in game report system to report toxic people, but then for particularly egregious offenses, I would also open up a ticket. I've had hate speech and whatnot slip through the filter, so I would open up a ticket in order to make sure a human looked at it and the person actually got punished. The last few times I've submitted a ticket about someone, I've gotten an automated response saying I already submitted a report in the client and that this is a duplicate report. It is a duplicate report, I was just so bothered by this particular incident that I want an actual human to look at it, so actual punishment might happen.

Apparently we've lost the ability to make sure an actual human looks at your reports. Why? The automated system barely does anything. No wonder I've had an increase in horrible games since I came back from vacation, if they took away the best reporting tool.

Nothing to see here, folks.

Another "Riot endorses toxic streamers" post.

Honestly, it might just be that you overuse the feature when not necessary. Had to do it myself about a week ago for someone who used incredibly colorful language for some awful stuff (said they raped a players mom to death and kept her corpse for more among other things, to put it mildly). Got blitzbot first as always, hit the button for a human, and got a quick response. Was a good interaction with support.

When the bot doesn't catch it, it will go to a human anyways.

If I'm not mistaken, you are just mainly concerned that action won't be taken. There was a red post around a year ago and they said that all reports will get reviewed, they just don't give feedback for everything.
