I used to hardcore back the idea that players should just use mute and you shouldn't bother with what others say. I still stand for that, but those of you who argued for this strict chat system were right and I was wrong. In fact it should probably be upped a little.

Now why have I changed my mind? Because I've left my mute off this month and decided to test using the chat more for play calls and communication. The only thing I discovered is that the game is full of even bigger assholes than before I turned my perma-mute on. I also discovered that trying to be positive and call for plays only resulted in insults. Tbh, people are such dicks to each other they deserve the loss and feeding teammates. So many people lack such basic decency towards their allies that I would rather have a PG, Kindergarten standard of language than see you guys on the rift anymore.

IMO if you got a feeder on your team that you're flaming, awesome. There is no logic in shitty comments if you want to win. You're just as troll for focusing chat and how bad everyone is. Im starting to think (since I played with mute on) that those ppl doing bad were doing worse because of ya'll. Who in the actual fuck wants to help the asshole talking mess to them lol? I know I don't. If its norms, the amount of fucks I give steadily decreases as people berated each other over simple, stupid shit.

So yeah, there you have it. Swing the ban hammer Riot. Everybody mute/report douches until Rito is done nuking their accounts XD

TL:DR An apology to others I've argued with recently, you were right.

Chat ban system actually should ban more. PG rift gets my vote now.

This is what I found out awhile ago. Everyone is a jerk and an asshole even if they claim not to be. it's not even worth TRYING to make friends with ANYONE In this game because only 5% of the people who play this game actually CARE About themselves, about others, and about being nice human beings in general. White knights will just deny this and keep spamming the same arguments you heard for God knows how long. And when I say nice, I don't include the people who pretend to be 'non toxic' and friendly, but are in fact entitled elitist jerks who will flame you if they see you dropping sharply, start lecturing you with low IQ teenage arguments "(you are the common factor in your losses"), and similar crap that EVERYONE regurgitates instead of actually putting TIME AND EFFORT into their arguments (because that's INCONVENIENT and EVERY unparented jerk these days wants the EASY WAY OUT, because that's LIFE IN THE DAY OF CELL PHONES and people getting brain cancer at their schools and colleges, by staring at their cellphones and laptops 24/7 (when not studying), instead of actually learning SOCIAL SKILLS--something we were FORCED to do 30 years ago.

(Ok done ranting. Had to unload some ..human fluids a bit, wow just got a key popup when typing that! no joke).

  1. don't make friends with people in this game. Don't accept adds from ANYONE. The ONLY people who you should EVER consider adding are people that put some THOUGHTS into their words, like "wow nice work shutting down your hard counter, karthus! Impressive CS" (this actually requires brain power and true positive thought, rather than "nice team"). or "Excellent Yasuo play. Nice work zoning and using your dash intelligently instead of spamming". THOSE are people you can consider adding.

Too bad you will almost NEVER EVER meet someone like this in your games.

  1. mute all, mute and DISABLE your team's pings. use your map awareness to find MIA's yourself. Don't be a lazy homeless bum. Only say "gj" and "ggwp " and "glhf" and NOTHING ELSE. You will NEVER get banned, easy honor level 5, and you will NEVER see people's salty BS.

  2. Leave game in post game right away. Honor someone who snowballs if your team has a stomp.

Hard feelings, Jo0o? When you've been backstabbed and betrayed by countless numbers of users, white knights, toxic jerks (who pretend not to be toxic just because you had 30 kills), then you can talk to me about hard feelings. Sorry but I'm not in the mood right now.

Just take away the chat box if you don't want banter. Otherwise mute people you don't wanna talk to.
