if someone does ultimate bravery in ranked but does well is that reportable?

Had someone do a completely random, almost unuseable build in a ranked game, but went 16-8. Im on edge whether thats reportable. he admitted afterwards that it was a ultimate bravery build, which is why i want to report him, but at the same time he went 16-8 so what do i do?

Edit: if you dont know what ultimate bravery is, you go to this website, https://ultimate-bravery.net/ and hit lets go, it gives you a completely random build, and you build it. its fun in casual norms with friends but not in ranked

This is a bit of a gray area, at least in my opinion.

On one hand, I don't think anyone should be doing "for fun" stuff like Ultimate Bravery while in Ranked. On the other hand, as long as they're trying it isn't against the rules and they shouldn't be punished for doing off-meta tactics.

I think that in this particular scenario: **If you reported him, nothing would come of it. **They clearly tried to win and ended up with a decent score. If he had under-performed and it didn't seem like he was trying, I could maybe see that being flagged as griefing or intentional feeding, but ultimately the judgment is made at Riot's discretion so we'll never really know anyway.

If you are looking to find whether that is reportable by riot's standards. Yes it absolutely is(mostly because they admitted to UB).

If you want to create a conversation about people's viewpoint on when you should report something I'll give you my personal definition about when I report someone for inting (I am guessing you are considering reporting about inting, because I don't see any other valid category)

I report someone for inting when I am 100% definitely sure that person is intentionally trying to lose the game for the team, so, when that is their end goal, to lose the game. BUT I do not report people that have done better than me individually in that game. Why? I feel like I have not earned the right to report them via my gameplay. If for example someone in my team is hard carrying while the rest are playing poorly and in the last teamfight the carry person just says "Fuck it, I am done with this game". I will not report them.

This is obviously how I personally like to handle my reports. I am not saying people should do this, or that this is right for everyone. Some people feel good reporting their teammates after a loss, makes them feel better even if they didn't perform much better.

Absolutely not. Even if they fed, theres nothing wrong with building whatever you want. Unskilled play isn't reportable lol. Playing and building badly, isn't reportable. If I can see the same guy in 3 ranked games going double JG singed and stealing my jg's camps, then proxying behind my enemies towers so I cant get exp and then inting for the next 20 minutes; all without him ever being punished, then you can deal with some dude building random shit

Blatant inting is barely reportable, so I'd presume no

I honestly don't think so. If they're trying their best to win, without ruining the game for others, then off meta shouldn't be an issue. The problem is then people go "support singed", and just afk run around the map. That's not trying to win and it's ruining the game for teammates. Now, if my bot lane wants to go AP, that's perfectly fine. If my ADC wants to play Crittlesticks, I don't care. As long as they aren't trying it for the first time in ranked and trying to win.

What if he had just chosen a random build on his own?

No. If someone does ultimate bravery and does bad, its still not reportable. You can build however you want, except for obvious troll shit like all items that dont stack together (all tears, all boots), and just not buying any items at all.

It doesn't really matter. You can report anyone for any reason or absolutely no reason at all. Rito is the ultimate judge on whether your report is valid or not and neither you nor the board will have any influence on that decision. If you feel something may be in violation of the rules, just report and move on and let Rito deals with it. Report =/= punish.
