You wouldn't have noobs in top rank positions. There are plenty of people who have random nerdy game egos without even earning the right to brag.
Should have new faces in top rank games instead of the same boring people everyone already watched the previous years. Esport failure favoritism.
Those who paid others to climb would be reset. Of course they dont like the idea of a real rank reset.
Might have some girl gamers in higher rank positions, because you never gave them a chance to climb to begin with. Honestly i'm not surprised you guys are getting sued.
Might have less people quitting because your 5v5 map rank system sucks.

High elo players have shown time and again they are easily able to climb even on fresh accounts. Heck, numerous times people have tanked their accounts to the depths of the rankings just so they could document climbing back up. In fact, the solution you propose of fully resetting ranked would have the opposite effect of what you're looking for. Instead of running into a few smurfs on the way up, the first few months of ranked would be filled with Iron/Bronze/Silver players getting stomped all day long by Platinum+ players.

Wat? All players start with the same ranked mmr afaik. Like mid silver something.
There are new players in proplay basicly every season. Ofcourse you will always have the good ones from the last season.
Boosted accounts when detected get permabanned. This is already happening.
How are they not getting a chance to climb? How is Riot holding them back? It's been some time, do they even ask for gender when creating an account?
If you dont like the 5v5 map system, maybe mobas isnt your genre.

Ah, you can check ladder yourself, there are many new(smurf accs) and from time to time you see someone who extremely improved(from famous names, eg Yassuo or Faker).

There are actually quite a few girls in d1+, not sure about challanger, but they have all same chances as you and me.

Ppl who dont know how mmr systems work think it sucks and is unfair.

Also, if you dont like matchmaking now, what would happen if you threw all players into same mmr, that would be the biggest cesspool and many players would quit.

Just gid gud, everyone has same options.

if someone is skilled then they should climb with their main accounts. Not be gifted a rank without having to climb like everyone else. Favoritism and Bias is alot of what the MMR system is.
