Chat restriction for trying to stand up against toxic players?

I don't really care about the chat restriction itself but i do care about the fact that i got punished for I don't know what. I was basically duoing with a friend in botlane and I asked for help, I said something like "hey gragas come bot they're pushed and janna no ult" and garages would respond: "no", "they're not low enough", "muted". Then when i got ganked and died because of it gragas started flaming me for being garbage and feeding for just 1 death. Basically our mid lane Cass and top lane Riven joined in calling me trash and toxic but when they called me toxic is when i never said a word of toxicity. I'll post my comments here and yeah I did say some toxic stuff but thats after they called me toxic. My toxic comments were used to defend myself from the Cass, Riven and Gragas player flaming me. I just want to know did I do anything wrong with trying to refute someone flaming and being toxic to me? I know people can argue that I could've just ignored and muted them but Riot throughout the history of mankind have you ever heard of humans ever being that patient? Do you really think every single human being can "just ignore" while they're being insulted? But yeah this is just my chat log and I just wanted to know if I was being too much that i deserved a punishment

Reason, situation, circumstance, etc do not matter. The only question is did you step over the line or did you not.

Your punishment isn't from standing up against toxic players, it's from standing up against them in the wrong way. Someone broke into your house and robbed you, and when you find out who and where it was later you broken into his/her house to take back your belongings. Needless to say, cops will arrest the both of you. Just because someone violated the laws and offended you doesn't mean you're now allowed to break the laws in however way you deem fit; the proper approach should've been reporting to the police with evidence and let them handle it. They may be incapable and useless, but that's considered the correct approach which you agreed to follow through.

Pro-tip, you aren't "standing up" to anyone online. You are just being silly and going right for the bait laid in front of you. Let this be a lesson to you, baited hooks are not food. Ignore them.

Standing up for myself is how I got a 25 game chat restriction (that I fed arams on til it was done). Riot doesn't care about feeders, yet when it comes to someone standing up for themselves or getting really angry n a game, they immediately restrict you from their pay to win system..

I got the same thing, I got called a F****T as well as C**T but because I was using it as deflection to stand up against it. I too got reported. I'm going to assume that RIOT generally just uses flags on certain words and then states that its against the rules regardless if it's reviewed or not.

This is from a 10 game chat ban. Really means nothing as I just play ARAM but still, its annoying to see that I'm using the term for sticks and getting flagged. Lovely RIOT for being lazy on that check.
