Will the Tribunal ever come back?

tribunal 2.0 is a feature Riot is thinking about. Which will allow players to interact with honor system as well. But that is faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrr down the road.

Further than the new client, further than solo ladder rewards, further than behavioral visibility improvements.

We are talking about next steps. To set expectations, it won't be soon, because there is a lot of work there. One thing we would like to do is let you honor sportsmanlike behavior and not just punish negative behavior.

riot has said when it is back it would serve as a compliment to the automated banning.

I just miss the tribunal as I thought it was a good way of punishing players who were in the wrong.

Last I knew, they said it would come back with the new client, but I'm not gonna hold my breath over it. (They said Solo-Q was definitely coming back at the start of Season 6, then 6 months into S6, they said it was dead, soooooooo...Tribunal will probably share the same fate.)

nah its not. if they really care how to punish someone they did better and that's when we dont need Tribunal system, but they didn't, they care about how to get more money, 1 or 2 ppl quit game it doesnt matter

Once players figured out that spamming BAN on all reports gave everyone else who spammed BAN extra IP, it really became a way to punish anybody who got reported.

Which meant the wanker in game who writes "GG nobb, reported" - and reports you, has the power to actually get you banned.

This community is too awful to be trusted with policing itself. :D
