Is toxicity/harassment in private messages reportable?

After a recent match someone from the game spammed me with friend requests only to harass me and say toxic and abusive things in private messages. And I'm wondering if this is reportable? Like if I screenshotted this and sent it to Riot in a ticket...

But more importantly, will Riot actually do anything about this if I do? Or am I just wasting my time? Like has Riot actually been known to or stated that they'll take action on players reported from PMs?

Also... I just want to point out that I know that said person spammed me with friend requests because every time I opened the notification to decline it there was another one already waiting for me. Even long after any chance of him still having been spamming them. And the only way to be rid of them all was to either decline each individual one that was already sent, or to accept (immediately receiving a ton of toxicity from them) and then block. Since there's no option to block a player who you aren't already friends with...

You can bring them to Riot's attention with a support ticket. They won't tell you the results of your request, but if the player is deserving of a behavior review then that might push them over the edge to getting manually reviewed.

But it is still your responsibility to unfriend them and stay away from them if they are toxic. This is because you have more control over who is on your friends list than you do over who you are matched with in queue. Riot takes both seriously, but they do more to deal with toxic players in queue than those whom you add as a contact. Best suggestion: Just don't accept invites from these sorts of players, or just block players who do this after you add them.
