Questions about the new report system! Red feedback would be appreciated!

Okay, so, I've been getting a lot of messages about being reported for harassment/offensive language. I won't lie, I've been pretty salty in I think 2/5 of the times I've been reported in the past 2 weeks.

I don't need chat logs or anything, but I would like to know why the report systems have been so ridiculously insane lately. For instance, last game I was reported for harassment and offensive language. I have no idea why. I asked bot lane to please poke down their lane opponents more so our jungler could gank more effectively. I also commented when a couple of my teammates were typing in a very serious manner saying something like, "I've no idea if you are angry, but you ending all of your sentences with periods and stuff makes you seem very serious."

How is that offensive language or harassment? I was merely stating that they seemed very irritated or serious because their word-choice and stuff made it seem that way. I don't believe I was rude.

There have been a couple similar situations, although with different context and stuff. I don't believe I was rude most of the time I have been reported lately (although I definitely was in a couple), but I think I'm being reported for nothing and I'm worried about getting punished for only a couple cases where I was in the wrong.

Again, it'd be great if I could get some input from everyone about the report system being a tad excessive or not paying attention to how many people reported you or whether or not you did anything wrong. If a Red is up to it, I would be grateful if they could check my last game's chatlog if I actually did say anything offensive (it's the only game I remember being reported in specifically) or whatever so I know what I'm doing wrong.

It's hard to cleanup your act if you have no idea if it's just the report system being trigger-happy or what. Put your thoughts on this below!

If you are not saying anything harassing don't worry about it, however do know that just one game if cursing at someone can get you automated restrictions so please keep in mind the following.

1.) Don't threaten reports on anyone. 2.) Don't ask others to report a person. 3.) Don't verbally abuse anyone.

4.) Don't Defend your teammates in chat toxicity, For example saying a few respectful lines like "Please don't harass Darius, he is trying his best, can someone help him." wouldn't likely get you punished.

I mean the comments like "Ashe is doing better than you she is 10-3, you are 3-10 you suck.

5.) Don't use racist language, Insults, and in general even the 4 letter word can be taken by an automated system as offensive even if you say like "I Fucked up on that play" you could get punished in theory if others troll report you.

6.) Don't harassment others for doing bad, it happens to all of us in games it took me years to understand why some players feed, please keep in mind this isn't always Intentional, and there are other plays, and help you could do to try to help them.

7.) Make use of the Mute function if you can't control your responses to toxic people, report them in the end.

Over-All everyone plays badly especially lower ranks, I have faith in Riots new system coming up soon that even I can do better and have one of the best seasons compared to others.
