Riot's report system and the recent rise of toxicity

We all know that the int feeders and the flamers and the people who just don't cooperate at all are at a rise again.

Riot's system puts less stress on a report from someone who reports many people (regardless if the reports are deserved or not). When less emphasis is put on a report, the less likely it is to get looked at and the person banned.

Why does riot not give everyone a voice? Because people like to report for no reason. Lot's of games, poeple get reported for being bad but they can't report it as "lack of skill" because that was removed. Instead, they just get reported as flaming or feeding because they have a lot of deaths. The reports that these people submit of "feeders" are considered throwaway.

But what if this actually happens? What if you go into multiple games and have multiple allies that either AFK, int, or flame? Can you ban them all? Can you possibly see that all of the people that have ruined the past half hour of your life be punished? Nope. Because the report system is fucking broken.

Riot has to understand that in low elo there really is a reason to report someone every single game.

That is not actually how it works. It puts less weight on people who repeatedly report others for no valid reason.

There is a pretty big difference. Also people tend to confuse this with the myth that number of reports has any effect on chance of punishment. It does not.

Lol this is so true, so many people get reported for feeding when they are just having a bad game. Its frustrating but we gotta remember we all have bad games. Personally when I have a horrible game I usually just say like "Sorry guys bad game for me, lets just farm up and do our best" Something like that. I just hope I don't get reported those games for "inting" when its really just a bad game

"We all know that the int feeders and the flamers and the people who just don't cooperate at all are at a rise again." where are the stats to back this up?

The lack of skill was called unskilled. It was actually designed to help riot fix match making rather than punish someone. You were essentially saying riot the game was unfair but nobody was toxic, but the match was just too 1 sided.

In what way would you like riot to inform you of punishment? They already tell you if a recent report has caused a player to be punished, you're looking for revenge on a player who cost you 30 whole mins of your life..... Riot won't give you the name of the person they punished based off your ticket , as they don't want players out for revenge rather to make a better community inside the game.

You use "I think most people agree" I think most people disagree with your statement, people who come to the boards are a very small selection of players. Riot has millions of accounts, yet boards are populated by a few thousand daily accounts. (number may be wrong, but its a clear showing that riot boards are not the community as a whole)

Recent? It's been on the rise for years sadly. Though the autofill forcing people to play roles they're uncomfortable with doesn't help; they should've keep teambuilder instead. Rather wait twice the que time to play where I want, than half the que time to be stuck somewhere I don't know how to play.
