I've seen people use both the N word and calling people f****ts more than once in a single game. Reported them a few days ago (and someone else sure reported them too), still waiting for my pop-up.

Warlord Scrap6 votesIt only gives you the popup if you were the last person to report them when they got punished. Even if they go and play another game and someone reports them that next game you wont get a popup. Its stupid i know but it is how it is

Instead, I'm often seeing people who literally spam those words and get away with no punishment, whereas a "fuck you" could trigger a 10 games chat restriction.

Right. And the odds that you would get a notified about it are pretty low, since other players were probably reporting the person too.

Well even if someone in the game reported him like 5 secs later you still wouldnt get the notification. I really dont understand who thought this was the better idea but thats just how it is.

There are very many threads in this forum area featuring players complaining about being banned for bad behavior, mostly toxic chat. Take some time to read through them.
Hawckey1 votesAre you fuckin kidding me, Riot's system is the most sensitive of any game I've ever played. I guarantee you if they scrape by the first game without getting banned, that if they say it again it will be an instant 14 day ban or even a perma ban
