So, question, is going AFK still bannable?

I've seen numerous players go AFK in my games, in my friend's games, and on streams. I have not once gotten, or seen, an instant feedback report in the last six months or so. I even sometimes get matched with those players again in the same goddamn day, where they usually proceed to recognize me, ban my champ, then troll the game unless someone dodges. High elo players are ragequitting left and right, and are somehow still playing weeks later. If AFKing is no longer a punishable offense, please let me know so I can save myself some time in these games.

You never get notification from LeaveBuster. On another note, LeaveBuster also doesn't required you to report anyone in order to flag an afk.

Not unless they AFK like 20 times in a month

LeaverBuster works on a separate system from behavior reports. You won't ever see an instant feedback for reporting a leave.

There's some leeway built in to account for unexpected RL issues. Someone who leaves regularly will be placed in a low priority queue, not the behavior penalty track.
