Thank you Riot for giving us the most clicked button in the world

the whole honor system is just trash imo. such a massive waste of riots time and resources

I bet there is a high correlation between that button being clicked and being on the losing team. Even if you are a great team mate, a good shot caller, tilt proof, etc, if your team loses the salt comes out and the button gets pushed. Winning games you can have toxic people on your team but at the end it will still, most of the time, say that everyone on your team honored someone.

XD i just generally click that button every time unless something worth honoring happens. (baron steals, penta kills, someone goes a deathless 7/0/3 or something) those sorts of things

and its worthless to honor someone based on "oh yea i /mute all when the game starts and no one went 0/9 so heres an honor whatever teammate i hated the least"

I find that a waste of time, i honestly prefer the overwatch style where they tell you what each noteable person was the best at in the game and you can judge from that who deserves it... like "70% team kill participation" or "most damage to X" and "damage shielded for teammates"

Its really hard just just to justify picking either of the options and not knowing why you even picked it in the first place

and as far as losing goes there is a difference between a 4v1 ff @ 20 with a strong chance to come back into the game, and a 45-60 minute, really hard fought battle that you just didn't win

a team full of quitters is way more tilting and demoralizing then a team full of good losers imo

There's very few times that I actually click that button. But when I do, it's because no one genuinely deserves it. The moment a game starts going wrong, everyone starts going on full tilt, and trying to catch up by getting kills... instead of playing safe. Meanwhile I'm busy trying to farm the jungle and lanes to quickly close the gap. And I see that damned Surrender button show up like 3 times before the 20 minute mark.

Usually the best player is honored. If was an even game, I'd still honor but other than that, if we lose and everyone did horribly, I don't honor anyone or if I single handedly carried the game and nobody really did much to help me, I don't honor.

i just don't like the 3 options.. and that you only get 1 person to pick.. because not getting honored when u slaved you ass off to do whatever you could to win, its just a huge middle finger and a slap in the face.

and if your whole team just crushed them its stupid to have to pick favourites

(unless u in duo q then u and your friend honor each other every time regardless and make the whole system pointless)

I mostly see supports being honored in my ranked games, even in the poro king I get 3-4 honors if I pick a support champion.

Not the best player, the one with the most kills even if they fed 30. The guy who went 0/2 and took 11 towers and 3 inhibs solo gets nothing. Going 30/30 is apparently carrying.
