Anyone else notice a sudden rise in toxicity/elistism?

Just curious if anyone else has noticed this. Haven't played alot of norms lately haven't because I haven't had a lot of time to play so just been banging out bot games mostly for the daily win, but in my last 3 norms games I've had HARDCORE toxic people, and haven't had this kinda shit this frequently since the honor system came out last season.

I've noticed it being way worse on other servers. Specifically OCE.

I don't come across toxicity as much, the majority of the time my team are quite pleasant. I also keep a calm atmosphere in my games most of the time as well. Every 6 games or so, I end up muting a player and asking my teammate to mute a player if they're distracting us from our goals. A great amount of the time, we communicate quite well.

I believe when a game becomes unpleasant, is when people encourage it and not by being directly toxic. Not being a positive player gets a lot of negative players. Such as continuously criticise your, blaming, or simply demanding your team to do something brings a lot of negative responses. You can't make anyone a target when you're trying to get your team to communicate. No pointing fingers and don't demand. Ask, be polite, try to communicate with pings and don't type as much. Because typing can be distracting, especially when you word them wrong, then players become annoyed.

These are things I do and avoid to make a game less tilting, not only for me but for my entire team.

Past month or so has been pretty chill. Actually a little less than usual. Probably just happened by chance that your 3 games all had some hardcore toxicity. I don't think it needs to be a signal of some general rise in toxicity throughout the entire community.

The IFS only takes action vs specific words or multiple games. I can only imagine it's because people are not getting punished enough.

I've had someone say "Kys" to me and still he's playing.

Ive actually noticed an increase of chill people oddly enough. Ive found way more “Oh Skarner Support? Cool” than “open mid, bot trolling” recently

Elitism?

I think it has more to do with how common afking and actually int feeding. People who say " thats it im feeding " run it down mid then you report them and they are in ur next game feeding on purpose but yet Riot wont ban them. Or people afking in middle of games, middle of fights/ dcing throughout the game. Playing Riven adc in ranked cuz why play normal.
