How to be toxic, but never banned.

Disclaimer, information is culled from purely anecdotal evidence culled from roughly 8,000 games.

Hello everyone, Chibi here. Before I go into the specifics of undermining the banning algorithm, I want to make clear that I don't condone trolling or flaming (specifically saying something to illicit and emotional response from another player) in any way shape or form. The purpose of this post is purely to call more attention to the subject.

Okay, here it is. The big secret. The big kahoona. The Mac Daddy that makes Riot Games tremble at night. The truth is, you can say or do whatever you want EXCEPT:

  • Using "Hate-Speech" words (Specifically, "Fa***t") *Remaining out-of-combat inside your base for too long (I estimate around 5 minutes)

In fact, even the tried and true method of ending a game via running it down mid does not seem to have a very high chance of getting you suspended, although I suspect that the system for detecting this is simply not aggressive enough, and you may still receive punishment for taking this form of trolling to it's extreme.

In short, don't afk, don't say the 6 letter F word. You'll be fine.

Right. So I guess many people get on here and lie about how they got banned and don't meet the criteria you've mentioned.

You can still be toxic without using hate speech and still work your way up the punisher ladder.

Next time you want post this "research" take the middle man out and just throw it into the garbage.

If you disco nunu, blue she, or 9/11 corki, it won't detect it unless your it down mid all game. What you do is you int a few kills then make it look like your actually trying. But if you hit the front page and f reddit, instantly banned. Nice system riot.

That simply isn't true. Feeder detection systems are improving all the time (and would improve faster if people stopped introducing noise into the system by reporting poor play or getting outplayed as feeding).

Also, you can get punished for simple harassment pretty easily, no hate speech involved. See here for examples.
