It gave me ONE chat log, and this was it. Are you fucking kidding me? A Perma ban, with no prior offenses or even restrictions?

Edit: Ban lifted, moved to 10 game chat restriction. Happy gaming!

I mean ya, this checks out as bein the typical kinda shit that gets people banned. Unless you go hate speech and jump punishments it doesnt matter how bad it was, just matters that this was your 5th time getting punished or whatever permabanns punish level is. The chat restrictions into temporary suspensions didnt start to give you an idea of what you shouldn't say in games?

Although your chat does warrant punishment (Riot has a zero tolerant policy on all forms of negativity, even if you were attacked first), if you had no prior offenses I don't see how Riot could give a perma ban for this chat log. The OP had no homophobic, racist, or death threats that warrants an instant ban. I thought the policy was chat restriction and a 14-day ban at most.

With that said, this is only true if you are honest about your in-game behavior. Personally, I believe you. Submit a ticket to riot and see what happens.

This chat log is definately worth a punishment, but if this really is your first interaction with the IFS I would suggest making a support ticket (using the account that was punished) and see if they are willing to lower the punishment.

They have done so in the past when the IFS skipped tiers when it shouldn't have.

These words are autotriggered, also your behaviour is - while beeing communicative - considered negative as well and therefor -> IFS

This is ban worthy but not perma ban worthy. Open a ticket if this is truly your first punishment. One thing to note -- the system does mess up on occasion and provide you a chat log when it's actually banning you from something else like botting/account sharing/macros/etc...

I'm wondering whether "murder" is somehow flagged for an instant permaban, because of its use in death threats.

To be clear: I'd consider that pretty stupid, but it would explain things. To my knowledge actual death threats are the only (toxicity related) thing that can escalate you to an immediate permaban.

Another possibility (in which case you'd be lucky because that kind of stuff has been reversed in the past) is that you actually did receive a 14-day ban... but that you received it while you were in this game. There have been cases like this in the past, so I wouldn't be surprised if you actually received an email regarding a 14-day ban around the same time you got permabanned.

Either way, I highly recommend writing a support ticket.

9 year old account with over 4000$ in. For... what? Not even sure I see what I did wrong except cuss a couple of times? I was raging a bit, yeah, but seriously? All of this took place over a nearly 40 minute game.

Update: Ban lifted, punishment shifted to 10 game chat restriction.

Moral of the Story to some of you: stop assuming everyone deserves any punishment that happens. Sometimes the system flips out.

People keep posting things like this but does anyone who can actually do anything about it ever read these or reply because we don't even get to see the reason this chat happened so people just assume you deserve the punishment when that could've been a raging 0/20 zac jungle for all we know lol. Riot should literally just pay a few people to go through this forum and see how shit there game has become.
