What the ACTUAL Fk?!

So I've got 5 free minutes... so time to complain...

So I was in a normal draft... last pick... My main, Darius had made it through bans. Enemy (I'm assuming top laner picks Malphite) so I'm stoked. When I take Darius against Malphite... it's just too easy. Enemy Summoner 4 picking... game freezes... causes my whole computer to freeze for a moment. Never seen this happen before either... not in 2 years on this computer. So when it unfreezes my client is no longer up. I figure "oh well, it was too perfect to be true" and I accept that I'm probably catching a 5 minute penalty... although I'm confused because I've never seen this happen before.

I log back in and there is a notification that a SERVER ERROR and am relieved to know that it wasn't my fault or computer. So I go to start another game...

AND IT TELLS ME I'M ON A 5 MINUTE PENALTY FOR DODGE!!!!!
